Terms of Service

The rules for using PostFusion, in plain language. If anything here is unclear, email us and we'll explain it.

On this page
The short version
  • You own what you put in and the posts you get out.
  • Only submit sources you're allowed to use, and review posts before they go live.
  • PostFusion is in beta, so things may change. We'll tell you about the big ones.
  • AI providers bill you directly through your own API key.

01Agreeing to these terms

PostFusion is run by PostFusion Inc. (“PostFusion”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you use PostFusion for a company or client, you're agreeing on their behalf and confirming you're allowed to. If you don't agree, please don't use PostFusion.

02PostFusion is in beta

PostFusion is in public beta. Features can change, move, or go away, and sometimes things won't work the way they should. We don't promise any particular uptime during the beta, and we may limit who can sign up or how much each account can use while we scale.

The beta is free right now. If we start charging, we'll tell you ahead of time and you can decide whether to keep going. We won't bill you for anything you haven't agreed to.

03Your account

  • You need to be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to use PostFusion.
  • Give us accurate details when you sign up, and keep your password and passkeys to yourself.
  • You're responsible for what happens under your account. Please don't share it with other people.
  • If you think someone else has gotten into your account, email us at support@postfusion.com right away.

04Connecting WordPress and AI providers

To publish, you connect your own WordPress site with an application password. That lets us act on the site for you: reading its post types and categories, creating posts, and uploading featured images. Only connect sites you're allowed to manage.

PostFusion writes with your own API key from Google, OpenAI, or Anthropic. Those providers bill you directly for what you use, and their terms apply to that usage. We aren't responsible for their charges, rate limits, or outages, so keep an eye on your usage with them.

You can cut off our access at any time by revoking the application password in WordPress or the key in your provider's dashboard.

05Your content

You own what you give us, like links, pasted text, and templates, and you own the posts PostFusion writes for you. We don't claim any of it.

To run the service, you let us store and process your content and send it to the services involved in making a post, such as your AI provider and your WordPress site. We only use that permission to provide PostFusion to you.

You're responsible for having the right to use what you submit. Many videos, reels, and web pages belong to someone else, and turning one into a post doesn't change who owns the original. Make sure you're allowed to use it, whether it's your own work, you have permission, or the law allows it.

06Posts written by AI

AI models get things wrong. They can misstate facts, misread a transcript, or write something that sounds a lot like existing work. Read and edit your posts before they go live, especially if you publish straight to your site instead of saving drafts.

You're responsible for what you publish. We don't guarantee that a post will be accurate or original, or that it will rank in search.

07What you can't do

Please don't use PostFusion to:

  • Publish content that infringes someone's copyright, trademark, or other rights
  • Mass-produce spam, or pass off someone else's work as your own
  • Create anything illegal, or content that harasses, threatens, deceives, or exploits people
  • Break into, overload, or disrupt PostFusion, or get around limits we put in place
  • Copy, scrape, or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it
  • Resell PostFusion or give other people access to your account

If you do, we may remove content, stop jobs, or suspend your account.

08Other services

PostFusion depends on other services, including YouTube, Instagram, WordPress, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Apify. They can change or stop working without notice, and some features may stop working with them. Your use of those services is covered by their own terms.

09Closing your account

You can stop using PostFusion whenever you like. To delete your account and its data, email support@postfusion.com. Posts already on your WordPress site stay there.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we end the beta. Unless it's because of misuse, we'll try to give you notice first.

10Disclaimers

PostFusion is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error free, or that what it produces will meet your needs.

11Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, PostFusion won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or traffic, even if we were told they might happen.

Our total liability for any claim related to PostFusion is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100. Some places don't allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of content you submitted or published, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, including legal fees.

13Changes to these terms

We'll update these terms as PostFusion grows, and change the date at the top when we do. For changes that matter, we'll let you know by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using PostFusion after that, you're accepting the new terms.

14The legal bits

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where PostFusion Inc. is incorporated, not counting its conflict of law rules. If there's a problem, contact us first and we'll try to sort it out informally.

If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term right away doesn't mean we've given it up. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about PostFusion.
